Across the polar circle see and enjoy the spectacular snow covered icebergs, whales, a huge array of penguins, large seal colonies and sea birds including the albatross.
These include Cuverville Island, Deception Island, the Lemaire Channel, Paradise Harbour, Neko Harbour, Petermann Island, Port Lockroy the home to the British Antarctic Survey, Waterboat Point and Wilhelmina Bay.
Shore excursions in the zodiac will reveal the penguins playing about on the ice, building nests and sliding down snow covered slopes diving into the sea like torpedoes. The seals can be seen on the ice banks and sleeping just below the surface. Antarctic is where the majority of the seal population live.
You can take the minisub and immerse yourself in the wonders under the ice.
